Stainless Steel

Experts are well aware that there are many types of stainless steel and that this term should not be confused with rust-free steel. We work with V2A steel for all SKYLIVING products (material 4301) which is known for its weather resis­tance. Stainless steel is also sig­nificantly harder than conven­tional steel and is there­fore less prone to knock or scratch marks. Thus it is well suited for typical outdoor locations like ter­races, near ocean sites, beaches, yachts, spas and wellness temples as well as balconies and gar­dens.

SKYLIVING also of­fers all of its prod­ucts as V4A steel types (material 4571) on request. V4A Steel contains 2% mo­lybdenum which provides extra resis­tance against chlorine and salt (anti-corrosion).

All of our stainless steel tubes and frames are brushed and have an ele­gant appear­ance. If neces­sary, the surfaces can be easily refinished to re­move scratches and signs of wear within seconds. Every SKYLIVING product comes with a special polishing fleece for this pur­pose.
